EARLY B RAPIDE 1947

Extremely early Series B Rapide with many original details, round Miller stop-lamp switch, Brampton forks, 3 Miller Dynamo, early gear linkage. Restored to a high standard in 2005.

Engine and Frame numbers match and correct to the Registration Documents, rear frame appears to be unstamped.

It is believed the bike was a dealer demo and may have had an engine failure as the crankcases have been replaced with slightly later HRD cases by the Vincent factory who stamped the original engine number on the cases.

It is very tidy and original with the addition of a rear Koni damper, solid cylinder studs and black chromed handlebars. Various parts nickel or chrome plated (probably due to being a demo model)

1600mls since rebuild.
